The .Accdb Record Format is the default record-saving format for Microsoft Access starting with its 2007 version. Previous variations of Microsoft Access, created with Access 2003 and in advance versions, use the .MDB File Format by using default.
The .Accdb document layout is similar to the .Docx and .Xlsx Codecs of Microsoft Word 2007 and Excel 2007, respectively. In reality, the .Accdb format is more extensively referred to as the “Access 2007” File Format. Databases created or stored as .Accdb documents can not be opened with the aid of variations of Microsoft Access previous to 2007, which includes Access 95, 97, 2000 and 2003.
