A base Transceiver station (BTS) is a piece of commUnity Device that helps Wireless conversation between a tool and Network.
A BTS consists of the following:
A BTS is likewise known as a Base Station (BS), radio base station (RBS) or Node B (eNB).
A commuNity may be any wi-fi generation, like Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WIMAX) or Wi-Fi. However, because a BTS is related to Cell communications technologies, it refers back to the equipment that creates the "cell" in a mobile community. Sometimes, a whole base station, plus its tower, are improperly referred to as a BTS or Cellular telephone tower.
As part of a Cellular Network, a BTS has sySTEM for the Encryption and Decryption of communications, spectrum Filtering gadget, antennas and transceivers (TRX) to name some. A BTS usually has a couple of transceivers that allow it to serve many of the cell’s special frequencies and sectors.
A figure Base Station Controller (BSC) controls all BTSs thru the bottom station control Function (BCF) – both a separate unit or integrated with the TRX for compact base stations. The BCF offers a connection to the network Control System (NMS) and manages the transceiver’s operational States.
The Characteristic of the BTS remains the identical – irrespective of what sort of wireless era is used.
