What is a Honeynet?

A honeynet is a prone and Simulated pc commUnity the usage of a decoy Server designed to test commuNity safety. Honeynets are developed on the way to help COMPUter SECurity professionals to improve protection for Networks and sySTEMs. Although it is able to appear to a Hacker as a legitimate community, it is clearly Hosted on a single server. By design, honeynets are not authorized for any true uses. If a honeynet is Accessed, a fair assumption is that the individual accessing it is a Hacker.

What Does Honeynet Mean?

Honeynets purposely include gadget vulnerabilities and aid in higher understanding hacker and Cracker conduct (and the motivations at the back of their behaviors). With honeynet operations, pc analysts do no longer must sift thru many valid network users, as they would with real system networks. Thus, honeynets allow hackers to be without problems recognized.
