An Input/Output (I/O) Device is a Hardware device that has the Capacity to accept inputted, Outputted or different processed Records. It can also accumulate respective Media records as input sent to a Laptop or send Computer inFormation to Storage media as storage output.
An I/O device is also called an IO device.
Input gadgets provide enter to a Computer, at the same time as output gadgets offer a manner for a computer to output information for communique with customers or other computers. An I/O tool is a device with both Functionalities.
Because I/O device records is bi-directional, such gadgets are typically categorised below storage or communications. Examples of I/O garage devices are CD/DVD-ROM drives, USB Flash Drives and difficult Disk Drives. Examples of verbal excHange I/O devices are Network Adapters, Bluetooth adapters/Dongles and Modems.
