What Does Kibibyte Mean?

Kibibyte is associated with Kilobyte, that is same to ten3, or 1,000, bytes. It comes before mebibibyte and was created by using the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) to replace the prefix "kilo," which stands for 1,024, in a pc technology Context. This of course conflicts with the usual Metric definition of kilo, that is 1,000 units. Despite this, using the kibibyte in no way without a doubt caught on inside the enterprise.
