A logical Topology is a idea in Networking that defines the structure of the verbal excHange mechanism for all Nodes in a commUnity. Using commuNity Device which include Routers and Switches, the logical topology of a Network can be dynamically maintained and reconfigured.
Logical topologies contrasts with physical topologies, which refer to the physical Interconnections of all devices within the community.
The logical topology defines how the Records have to transfer. Contrast this to the Physical Topology, which includes the Format of cables, network devices and wiring.
