What is Pentium?

Pentium is the Logo name of a series of Microprocessors produced by Intel Corporation. It become launched in 1993 as the successor to the Intel 80486.

Pentium is also called Pentium 1, P5 or occasionally Intel 80586, as it became the 5th technology of Intel microProcessors.

What Does Pentium Mean?

The first microprocessor in the Pentium series become the Pentium 1. This Chip’s Functions included:
