Primary Rate Interface (PRI) is a Telecommunications interface general typically used in Integrated Services Digital Networks (ISDNs) and is basically a provider furnished for larger organisation customers. PRI strains are a high-capability provider carried on T1 or E1 Trunk strains, relying at the u . S ., between the telecommunications provider’s vaLuable service station and the customers’ give up.
The T1 trunk line utilized in a PRI service is divided into 24 channels of sixty four Kbps Capacity every. Twenty-3 of these channels are referred to as Bearer Channels (B channels), equivalent to having 23 Cellphone strains, while the twenty fourth channel is called a Delta Channel (D channel), which is used to carry manage indicators and statistics like Caller ID and Data Services.
